The actual argument should be “if you raise the minimum wage to $15/hr then the CEO won’t be able to enjoy his $30 burgers anymore.” and I don’t see the problem.
The "if you raise the minimum wage to $15/hr then I hope you enjoy your $30 burgers" argument simply doesn't work because there is a ceiling to what you charge for a product before people just stop buying it.
This bothers me too. I luckily haven’t come across many negative reviews for my movies, and when someone just doesn’t like it that doesn’t really bother me, but when they suggest we didn’t put in the effort or otherwise feel they can know our intentions, that can be hurtful.
I don't search my name. I have searched the movies (and podcasts!) I've worked on. ONE time I responded when someone called Found Footage 3D "lazy." (I shouldn't have.) You can hate the movie, but "lazy" felt personal. Everyone on that movie worked hard. https://twitter.com/QuestionMarkNaf/status/1350714796937764864
The diptych of Underworld and Underworld: Evolution, which is essentially just one long movie, fucking rules 🤷♀️
Say what you want about the UNDERWORLD franchise, but god the werewolves look fantastic
For some reason people don’t really talk about this show? But I love it so much.
When Sam Raimi first started coming into his own in the 80s, he was telling stories visually in completely new way. Since then every genre filmmaker has copied elements of his style.
I'd love him to show us all again how it's done. https://twitter.com/DiscussingFilm/status/1349133622918393856
Elizabeth Olsen praises Sam Raimi’s fantastic work on ‘DOCTOR STRANGE: IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS’.
She says he brings a great energy and “is a specifc type of filmmaker who loves playing with his camera.”
